For Information on Other JBCC Environmental Programs
There are other environmental programs and activities ongoing at Joint Base Cape Cod (JBCC) sponsored by organizations other than the Impact Area Groundwater Study Program. For more information on these environmental programs, please contact the JBCC Environmental and Readiness Center at 508-968-5146.

Public Information Repositories
An Information Repository is a set of documents that contain important facts relating to the cleanup of a site, such as the JBCC. It includes the Administrative Record, all correspondence, reports and documents pertaining to the cleanup, as well as general program information.

The Information Repositories are located in the four Upper Cape local town libraries.

The Impact Area Groundwater Study Program Information Repository contains hundreds of documents. Many of the documents are of a technical nature and have titles such as "Baseline Risk Assessment" and "Feasibility Study". These documents are the results of environmental investigations and studies done at Camp Edwards. Project Managers use the information to help them decide how best to clean up each site. All of the information is made available to the public, so individuals can make their own evaluations.

The Information Repository may contain other documents that are not required legally, but that might be useful to the public.

Types of information contained in the Information Repository:

  • General information on the cleanup program
  • Brochures, fact sheets, and other information
  • Scientific research and journal reports
  • The Public Involvement Plan
